Biography
Mārtiņš Vargulis is an Associate Fellow and Project Manager at the Latvian Institute of International Affairs. He is graduate student of International Relations at Riga Stradiņš University. In his academic career, he has focused on issues concerning Russia (particularly economy and soft power), the World Trade Organization, and the European Neighbourhood. In his professional experience as a project manager at various organizations, he has implemented a number of projects regarding the European Eastern partnership and Russia. Mārtiņš Vargulis is also a vice chairman of "Citizen with Influence" and Member of the Board of "Baltic to Black Sea Alliance".
