On Feb 28, LIIA Research Fellow Diāna Potjomkina took part in a Humanities and Social Sciences Committee meeting of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, with a presentation on the future of European integration and the concept of federalism.
On the occasion of the publishing of the book “History of Finland” on February 11, 2013 director of the Latvian Institute of International Affairs Andris Sprūds moderated the lecture of Mr Henrik Meinander, the author of the book, and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland Erkki Tuomioja. The subject of the lecture was “Finland and the Baltic States”.
