"The Centenary of Latvia's Foreign Affairs. Ideas and Personalities" at the Vienna School of International Studies

On November 30, 2017, in the framework of Latvia's centenary celebrations, a public discussion "Latvia's View on the European Security and Economic Policy" was held at the Vienna School of International Studies. The event featured LIIA researcher Aldis Austers, who also presented the book "The Centenary of Latvia's Foreign Affairs. Ideas and Personalities".
The event was opened by Emil Brix, Director of the Vienna School of International Studies, and Veronika Erte, Latvia's Ambassador to Austria. In addition to Aldis Austers, the event also featured Arnold Kammel, Director of the Austrian Institute for European and Security Policy, as panellist, and Gunther Hauser, Head of the Group International Security at the Institute for Strategy and Security Policy, National Defence Academy, as moderator.
