LIIA participates in the project “The Emergence of New States in Eastern Europe in 1918 – Lessons for Entire Europe”

Latvian Institute of International Affairs participates in the project “The Emergence of New States in Eastern Europe in 1918 – Lessons for Entire Europe” in cooperation with the leading partner institution WiseEuropa in Poland as well as other partners in Lithuania, Estonia, and Finland. The project is co-financed by the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) under the "Europe for Citizens" programme.

Throughout the year 2019, the project involves a number of public discussions and the accompanying thematic exhibition in Warsaw, Kaunas, Riga, Tallinn, Helsinki, and Brussels. The project will conclude with expert analysis and a collection of research articles.
