Biogrāfija
Andris Sprūds ir Latvijas Ārpolitikas institūta direkotrs. Viņš ir arī profesors Rīgas Stradiņa universitātē. Andris Sprūds ir ieguvis maģistra grādu centrāleiropas vēsturē Centrāleiropas Universitātē Budapeštā, Ungārijā un starptautiskajās attiecībās Latvijas Universitātē. Viņš ir ieguvis PhD politikas zinātnē Jagiellonian University (Krakovā). Andris Sprūds ir bijis uzaicināts un apmeklējis Kolumbijas, Džona Hopkinsa, Oksfordas un Upsalas universitātes kā pētnieks, kā arī Norvēģijas Starptautisko attiecību institūtu un Japānas Enerģijas ekonomikas institūtu.
Andris Sprūds ir valdes loceklis Latvijas Transatlantiskajā organizācijā un biedrs Baltijs - Melnās jūras aliansē.
Viņa izpētes laukos ietilpst enerģijas drošība un Baltijas jūras reģiona politika, iekšpolitika un ārpolitika postpadomju valstīs un transatlantiskās attiecības.
