Beate Livdanska holds a Master's degree in international relations and a Bachelor's degree in political science from Riga Stradiņš University. Beate Livdanska currently is pursuing her Ph.D. in political science at Rīga Stradiņš University. Previously she has been a Researcher at the Centre for East European Policy Studies (CEEPS) based in Riga. She specializes in the foreign and domestic policy of Belarus. The main research focus includes analysis of relations between Belarus and the Baltic States. Relations between Belarus and the European Union and relations between Belarus and Russia.
