Dana Duda

Dana Dūda is an Affiliate Researcher at RSU's China Studies Centre, with an academic background and over a decade of professional experience in China and Taiwan. She holds a Master's degree in International Affairs from the US-accredited Ming Chuan University in Taiwan (2024) and two Bachelor's degrees: one in Business Chinese from Shanghai Normal University (2018) and another in International Business Administration from Chinese Culture University (2022).
In September of this year, Dana will commence her Ph.D. in Political Science at Rīga Stradiņš University. As a fluent Mandarin speaker, she has served as an interpreter at high-level political events and within various diplomatic, educational, and research institutions, including the Taipei American School, European representative offices in Taiwan, and the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy Research.
Dana's research interests include analyzing the PRC's foreign and domestic policies through Chinese political discourse and comparative studies. Dana’s main research focus is on examining official Chinese government language to understand its impact on the geopolitical landscape and its influence on the Baltic states and Taiwan.
