Mārtiņš Daugulis is PhD Candidate in Riga Stradins University, where he gives lectures on current politics of Latvia, the EU politics, China issues, and specifics of political communication. He is lecturer also in Riga Graduate School of Law.
Mārtiņš Daugulis is adviser of Krišjānis Kariņš, Member of European Parliament elected from Latvia. Using the solid knowledge of the EU decision making process from both theoretical and practical perspectives, he is active in research fields touching Latvia's euro transition process and, nevertheless, prospects of the EU identity and future development (the EU federation issues).
Before advising Mārtiņš Daugulis has been deputy head of the EU Cooperation and Coordination division of the Ministry of Economics, and senior officer in Foreign Trade Relation department of the MOE.
Paralerly Mārtiņš Daugulis runs a consultation company “Growth&Intelligence”, which provides educational and consulting services.
