Martins Daugulis is an associate researcher at the Latvian Institute of International Affairs and the head of the Faculty of European Studies of the Department of Political Science of Riga Stradins university. M. Daugulis is a PhD candidate at Riga Stradins university, teaching lectures on Latvia's current politics, EU politics, People's Republic of China issues and the specifics of political communication. Since 2018, he has been working as a moderator, producer of the media "TVNET" and until 2019 was an author at the investigative journalism center "Re:Baltica". From 2019 to 2020, M. Daugulis was an adviser to the Prime Minister, Krisjanis Karins, on sustainable policy issues.
M. Daugulis' academic interests include the People's Republic of China and its foreign policy strategies, socio-anthropological policy aspects, health policy and innovation.
