Public discussion - Russia and the West: Beyond Crisis Management

The Latvian Institute of International Affairs continues a tradition and invites you to join us for a public discussion: Russia and the West: Beyond Crisis Management. The event will take place on 24 May 2019 from 17.00 till 18.30 at the Hotel Bergs (Elizabetes 83/85), 5th floor.

The public discussion is organized within the framework of the annual Riga Dialogue 2019 conference. This project aims to go beyond the current status quo and to work on common understandings and solutions to new political and security architecture in Europe. As a bulk of discussions, media outlets and publications are emphasizing the differences that separate the West and Russia, and need for increased deterrence, this event diverges in its attempts to find the remaining common points of interest between the two sides.
