Riga Dialogue: the archive
The annual Riga Dialogue brings together high-level policymakers and experts from the European Union, the United States, as well as EU and NATO partners to discuss current challenges to Euro-Atlantic security and provide policy recommendations for building a more stable security environment. By analysing existing security challenges and risks, the Riga Dialogues seek to answer questions on how to strengthen the existing posture of deterrence and defence, and how to contribute to the long-term security architecture. These meetings provide an opportunity for prominent security and foreign policy scholars to discuss current developments and foster mutual cooperation, promoting synergies between think tanks and policymakers.
"The Riga Dialogue is organised on the Chatham House principle - most of the discussions take place in private. However, each year a public debate on topical security issues is also organised. Recordings of previous years' public debates can be found in the links below:
